The 55″ ST-30 has a breathtaking picture. It takes on all content while promised with the exception of Video on demand audio. The Video on demand video playback is ideal, no delays, no buffering issues, quite clean smooth display. Unfortunately, the music playback crackles with many quick sharp cracks along with stutters that are quite bothersome. It almost shows up that the audio cpu cannot keep up most of the time. The TV speakers crackle continuously while playing Blockbuster online but the TV loudspeakers are weak and also muffled so the crackling is not as frightening to small children.
