Khao Yai National Common Move Head
Khao Yai National Commons is situated in the Sankamphaeng Muckle Range, the southern prolongation of the Dong Phaya Yen Mountains, at the southwestern boundary of the Khorat Plateau.
This common lies largely in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (Khorat), just likewise includes regions of Saraburi, Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok provinces.
The common is the moment largest in Thailand. It covers an country of 2,168 square kilometers, including evergreen forests and grasslands. Its altitude largely ranges from 400 to 1000 thou above sea level. There are 3,000 species of plants, 320 species of birds similar red junglefowl and common peafowl and 67 species of mammals, including Asiatic negro bear, Asian elephant, gaur, tiger, gibbon, Indian sambar deer, pig-tailed macaque, Indian muntjac, dhole, and untamed pig. Its waterfalls include the 80 metre Heo Narok, and Heo Suwat created famous from the movie The Beach. Namtok Sarika is popular with the Thais.
Recent wildlife studies demonstrate that sensual ranges, especially the few resident tigers, are impacted by human activity near the kernel of the park. This study has not impacted the government’s outcry for private lodging concessions within the common itself.
