Great ergonomics, great cutting proper out of theo- box
Bosch spent a good bit of time making this saw ease to use and adjust, and as a left-hander, this is the firstly in recent memory that makes the cut easy to do with the left hand without a erect deal with. In fact, the main deal with can be oriented just about however you like.
Cutting and accuracy were mere good right out of the box. I was within a bisection gradation of square and plumb according to my starrett, and the instructions with the Bosch 4410L made it easy to adjust. Common miter and bevel angles are correct.
The upfront controls for the bevel are a little bit soft – a multiposition knob feels a little vague when setting, however that is a relatively minor nit. The laser sight is decent, however it is only really correct from a given height over the piece – i believe on it only for initial sighting.
The enclosed blade works well – i would recommend a forrest blade or ther comprable replacement made for the saw as an upgrade. Definitely takes the cut to a new level of smoothness.
I have had this saw several months now, and their hasn’t been a letdown in the quality of the cuts.
